I would feel ashamed to shop at Wal-Mart, not because it is cheap, but because they have a terrible human rights record. As a Christian, I cannot in good conscience support them.

I consider shopping at WalMart to be a necessary evil. I know I can get most of the things I need at discount prices there, but I don't enjoy the shopping experience. I generally avoid places where the employees themselves spend an inordinate amount of time complaining about work.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. As for human rights, maybe that is true. Is it possible though, that the goods produced feed families that otherwise would have no means of support? Those jobs, creating products for Wal- Mart support real people. That is Christian to me.

Why feel embarrassed about getting the best deals in town? Shopping at Wal-Mart is a smart move for those of us on fixed incomes. What other choice do we really have? I have never been troubled by what others think. Not since High school, so there is no need to be embarrassed about being smart enough to save.

I personally do not get embarrassed. I hear a lot of my co-workers say 'oh i hate wal-mart, i'm not going to shop there.. blah blah blah. ' That is thier choice but I do like to shop there, and I don't ever feel embarassed.

I do now feel embarred one bit to shop at Wal-Mart. With todays economy and rising gas prices, one stop shopping is the best. I know they comp prices from other stores that keep me from running all over town. It is one of the largest companies now, so why not shop there?
