You can change nothing that happened yesterday. Its time to move on. Cheating is lying and stealing from you whats yours. I respect your anger. You said "The Love of my Life" thats present tense. Let it go and move on. he was wrong but dont stay the victim

I got over it. We were having a difficult time, and she needed something I was unable to give her at the time. Someone else, who I knew, provided it. I believe it was the closeness she required. It wasn't that she didn't love me, and it wasn't that she did love him. We have to survive.

The truth is you probably won't. When you love someone deeply and they betray your trust, even if you stay with them, you will always wonder what they are up to. People have stayed together after a betrayal, but there is always the possibility of being reminded of infidelity by little things day to day.

I doubt it. Having someone you love cheat on you is one of the worst feelings in the world. I suggest you move on because if they cheat once it's likely they will do it again. It will be hard to leave your lover but if he/she was the "Love of your life" they wouldn't have cheated.

You might get over it, you might forgive but forgetting is not going to happen. What that person has done will forever change the relationship. You can learn from it, work to make the relationship stronger or you can let it tear you apart. The 1st year will tell the tale if you can move on or not.
