Do I really need a 5 speed blender?

You do not really need a 5 speed blender, but it is nice to have all of the speeds as you can use a blender for more than just blending.

Not really. The ones with High and Low speed levels are more than adecuated. You can substitute the speeds with the time of the blend.

You may not need it but you will never know. Use the other features as most blenders are 5 speed. You can toggle through various speeds and settings on most models.

no,you don't if we have a special blender with special speed for slicing. we don't need 5 or more speed blender
