No, not for a simple whitehead. If you are freaked out by it's presence this probably means you don't get them often and are lucky!! Use Acne Face wash.

No, whiteheads are perfectly normal and even babies typically have them. Sebum, aka oil is usually to blame. Avoid touching your face and wash appropriately.

Whiteheads are very common pimples that just about everyone gets. For a normal case of whiteheads you do not need to see a dermatologists. But if you start to get large patches of them and they begin to leave scars that would be the time to go see a dermatologist.

A simple whitehead likely does not need medical attention, apply a warm salt water compress for about ten minutes and see if it starts to resolve itself.
