No you don't need to go to school to become a boxing referee .However,are required to attend a specified number of clinics determined by the level you work.

Education is important. This means you will need to be able to read and learn about all the rules and regulations behind the game and the job. You will also need a sort of crash course on CPR, self defense and psychology in order to deal with situations that might show up.

Well its a funny question. well why u want to become a boxing referee instead of boxer ,well my answer in both the cases if u wanna become boxer or referee yes ,yes you have to got to school
