It sounds like you may have a hypothroid conditiion, especially if you are saying that your thyroid has been fluctuating. However, I think that it is really important that you contact your doctor in order to get an accurate diagnosis. The doctor may have to put your on medication in order to conrtol your symptoms.

TSH levels between 0.45 to 10 mU/L indicate normal thyroid function. Levels between 4.5 to 10 mU/L and above, indicate hypothyroidism and symptoms are visible. Patients without symptoms have subclinical hypothyroidism and should be rechecked every 6 to 12 months. Antibody test should also be performed. Patients with signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism usually need thyroxine replacement therapy.

Normal lab values for TSH are between 0.5-6 uU/ml. The Free Thyroxine,(FT4), levels can vary from 0.7-1.9 ng/dl. Your T3 results should range from 80-180 ng/dl, and Radioactive Iodine-123 uptake, (RAIU), 10-30%. If test results appear normal, yet suspicious symptoms remain, some physicians will prescribe further testing. Some doctors will try thyroid medicine to assess effectiveness and relief.
