Female Pentecostals do not necessarily wear their hair in a particular style but they do try to keep their hair long. The reason why they try to keep their hair long is to easily identify themselves as women. Pentecostals are very particular about gender roles and creating clear boundaries between men and women.

Pentecostal churches do not have any particular hair style for women. Pentecostal covers a large variety of different churches such as the International Church of the Four Square Gospel and Assemblies of God churches. Women have served as pastors and co-pastors of many churches.
