Do creatine levels have anything to do with alcohol detection in a urine test?

Answer by  Qwitzon (578)

Abnormal Creatinine levels in the blood is an indicator of stress on the kidneys. Diabetes can be a cause of stress on the kidneys and diabetes can lead to a false positive result for alcohol in a urine test. The false positive is caused by acetone or high levels of sugar in the urine sample.

No, creatine levels are used to see if the urine submitted is actually human urine or if it is fake urine. The only thing that is tested in an alcohol test is alcohol.
