What could cause blood and protein in the urine of a small child?

My doctor informed me that my five year old has high protein levels in his urine.

This could be a number of things. The most likely culprit is a kidney infection. It could also be a bladder infection (pretty common in girls) or a kidney stone (these are usually rare in children). Other possibilites are a prolapse bladder (extremely rare) or some type of congential malformation (like undecended testes).

because of high protein content in the urine it will damage the blood vessels in the kidney. Because of the ketones the calories gets deprived for young children. have to take test and consult doctor in time when they are not feeling well.

Generally blood and high protein levels in a urine sample indicate some sort of kidney disease or injury to the renal system. This can also indicate simple infections.

Improper kidney function can cause protein in the urine. Protein should not be in the urine and if the kidneys can't reabsorb it properly then it will leave in the urine. Blood in the urine could be the sign of internal bleeding. Kidney function is critical and so this symptom should be taken seriously.
