I do not think rabbits use nests, they use burrows. Which I guess could be called a nest. I think once a rabbit is grown they strike out on their own and find a place away from their original home.
If the baby bunnies are old enough they will return to get milk from the mum. If they are not, the mother will make sure that they stay in the nest by picking them up by the skin at the neck.
