Could you tell me how to bend a mattress to get it up stairs?

You may want to use a rope to tie around the mattress so you can bend it however you would like. Having someone help you get the mattress up the stairs would be a good idea also. Ask a friend or relative to help you get it through whatever pathway you need to get it through.

It really depends on what kind of mattress. If it is a box spring mattress, it is not going to bend, but if it is your basic top type of mattress, then you could try this: roll mattress in roll length wise and use a couple of bungy cords to secure together.

First check if the stairwell is standard height. Somewhere around 7. 5 feet. If so, stand the mattress up tall and it should slide around the narrow parts of the stairwell.
