Could a 13 week fetus be mistaken for a 19 - 20 week fetus?

I guess it would be possible if the baby is larger than average for a 13 week fetus. You could be further along.

From personal experience I would say yes. My daughter was born on her original birth date. My doctor told me she wasn't due for another week. I would ask just to make sure.

Since the doctor tells how old the fetus is based on size it is possible to not be quite as accurate about how many weeks the fetus is because it is really hard to tell the size when the fetus is so small. As the fetus grows your due date may change and become more accurate.
