Can you use whipping cream to make chicken pot pie?

You can, but it is not a great idea. The taste will be a bit chalky if you use this type of cream, use the regular kind instead or cream of chicken soup.

You could use whipping cream, but it will make it much thicker. Milk will work just fine- no need to substitute.

If you are using a recipe that calls for milk or half-and-half to make the filling, you can substitute cream for a richer flavor. However, try using half cream, half milk first to see how you like the taste. Using cream may make the meal too heavy for some people.

You probably could, but I've never heard of it. If you reaaly feel like you need to use it, look for a gravy recipe that uses whipping cream and use that for the sauce. You could also use it as part of the liquid in the crust but be sure to chill it first.
