A power antenna will usually have two sets of wires - two wires for moving the antenna up and down, and one wire for the antenna signal. First connect the power wires and then connect the signal wire.

Connect a 12v power source, and put a switch (use on/off switch, not momentary switch so that the antenna can retract after the car is turned off) between the antenna wiring and power source. connect ground if there is one cable for ground.

The green wire provides power to raise the antenna. When the power from the green wire is removed(i.e. radio turned off), the power from the red wire retracts the antenna. The green wire power source could be controlled by an on/off toggle switch, if you so desired.

run 10g wire from battery positive to 37a on relay. run 10g from 30 on relay to power ant. positive. run battery positive to switch with small gauge wire. then from switch to 85 on relay. run power ant ground with 10g and 86 on relay to chassis ground.

If you're referring to an antenna within a car audio system then you will need to bring your wiring to split from your power source (generally an amp) and to your audio system.
