It would depend on if you were hunting in stores for one or outside. If I were you I would go online and search hunt for tiger's eye stone and se what it pulls for you.
The stones can be found in Minnesota, Iowa and Arizona, and South Africa. Look near asbestos mines. It is hard to find, best to just order it on line. The gems will have yellow and golden brown strips.
Go to a place were tigers eye is abundant. Once you've found a place you have to look for shiny stones in that area. I think that most tigers eye is found in Central and South America. You may have to do some research to find out exactly where it is found.
