Unplug or turn off all loads on the circuit( lights, applianes, TVs) then turn each one on until the circuit overloads. This should tell you where the overload is.

Switch off all electrical appliances and lights at plug points. One by one, switch them on again. As soon as your circuit trips, you will know whether the culprit is overloading or due to a wet or faulty plug. This is the easiest way to determine where the fault lies.

If the breaker trips, not from plugging in an additional device, but from the devices that are regularly plugged in. If, when more than one device is running at the same time, the circuit breaker trips, then the circuit is overloaded, and some of the devices will need to be moved and plugged in somewhere else.

Well if you have a circuit breaker it should trigger to off when it overloads. Some wall switches also have a circuit breaker which will also trip if you are using more then you should on that line. You should never have two appliances on one circuit.

One of the easiest ways to tell a circuit is overloading is the tripping of a circuit breaker. Another way to tell is physical heat build up on cord.
