Can you suggest a list of science experiments or ideas for projects for third graders?

We did a section on magnets.

Collect a bunch of things commonly seen such as pencils, cables, books, metal rods, and place them near a magnet. If the object gets attracted by a magnet, that means some force is being applied on the object. Think what that object is. What happens when a magnet gets near the object?

How is a mold count calculated? What are the different parts of a seed? What is capillary action in plants? What is the carbon dioxide cycle? Are there variations in the amount of eyes in insects? Do all types of bread grow the same types of mold? Does light affect how fast food spoil?

Magic ketchup experiment for bouyancy and density, lava lamp experiment to study molecular polarity, slime as a liquid polymer, clean pennies with vinegar showing how the acid reacts with salt, or make your own cloud to illustrate what happens when warm air meets cold air.

The volcano experiment with baking soda and dish soap or you can make a bulb light using batteries and teach the kids about circuits and electricity.
