The only way that you can get pay-per-view is if you purchase each invdivual show on its own. The standard subscription does not include these exclusive events and are only viewable on certain channels.

Pay Per View is still offered by several satellite companies. You do need to use their service monthly in order to have access to it. Dish Network and Direct TV still offer pay per views that you can either call in for an additional fee and order a movie or you can use your remote for around five bucks.
