Hot rollers are still readily available. With so many things, overuse will damage your hair. However, if you use a heat protection serum or spray your hair should be protected from the worst of the heat and still allow the style to be created.

You can still purchase them on line and beauty supply stores carry them sometimes. They aren't the best thing for your hair, but neither are flat irons and they're everywhere.
