Some diamonds. Most diamods are clear and you can see through them. A few are colored and a lower quality diamond can be cloudy.

Ultimately, they should be completely clear.. However, they're cut into one of a variety of a prisms, so the image won't be like you're looking through a piece of plain window glass.

Diamond is transparent, so you can see through it to some degree. However, because of the faceted cut of the stone, you will not be able to see through clearly.

If the diamond is uncut you can see through it if it has very few flaws. Once it is cut, most cuts will refract the light inside the stone so that you cannot see through it. One exception would be an emerald cut stone, you can see through this cut if you are looking at it through the side.

No you cannot see through a diamond. There are many facets to a diamond that refract light. If the stone is loose, try putting it over newsprint. If you can see through it, it is not a diamond. When you shine light on a diamond, you will not see light coming through the stone.

If a diamond is classified as flawless clarity, you should be able to see through the diamond. What you see may be limited by the cut, however, so note it won't be like looking through a window. But you shouldn't see any cloudiness.
