You cannot see moon landing sites with a telescope unless you are within a a close proximity to the moon. You would need to be in space, maybe 50 to 100 miles from the moon, depending on the telescope strength. The sites are very small compared to the moon's size.

If we had the telescopes that NASA has we could. But we don't. I have tried to see the landing on the moon with my telescope, but that was along time ago. It would have been so cool to see.

When we take into account the sizes of the Earth and Moon, the distance between them, the atmospheric interference and the size of the landing sites,it turns out that we would need a telescope with an objective mirror ten times bigger than the largest in the world ,so the answer is no.

That is not very likely. You would need a extremely powerful telescope and also know the exact location of the sites on the surface of the Moon.

I am looking through my telescope. Searching for moon landing sites is a waste of time. I can't distinguish landing sites from the moon landscape.
