It is possible to change a picture tube in an RCA television set, however, picture tubes require very high voltage to operate. The deadly voltage is still present for quite a while in the televison even after it is turned off. Also, in addition to the danger, the tube needs to be lined up which requires detailed knowledge.

Yes, and there you can replace an RCA picture to tube,but unless you're experienced and know what you're doing I wouldn't recommend it. Televisions require high voltage is to operate and those voltages can be lethal, so if you don't know what you're doing it's better to play it safe.

Yes, i can.because i am a Tv technician, Television tubes require very high voltages to operate, in the order of 20,000 volts or higher. These voltages can be lethal and they are present within a television circuit long after the television has been turned off. Replacing picture tube on RCA can be safely handled by removing first the anode cap.

There are people who do replace the picture tube on an RCA television, however, I would have to recommend that you do not try this unless you have more than just the basic skills concerning a television. There is very high voltage and can prove to be very dangerous.
