A camera timer can be repaired if you feel the need to use it but it would be best off taking the camera to the repair shop for a repair like that.

Camera timers can be repaired ,however it is advisable to take it to a professional camera shop. The timer may cost more to replace than the actual camera. It's a very time consuming process which racks up the labor cost

you cant repair a camera timer at home unless that is your talent. Personally its not that big of a problem if you dont use it but the best thing to do is to take it in and ask if that perticular store can.

A camera timer is actually easier to remove and replace with a new one versus repairing the old timer. It can be done at home
