The simplest way to add crown molding to a cabinet is to measure the cabinet, then take those measurements to the building supply store. Have them cut your molding to size and angle the edges so they fit together properly. Bring the molding home and attach it with small nails.

You can do this if you have enough room between the molding and the door. You at least want 4 inchs clearance between the door and the molding.
