Can you provide me with a sample letter to use when transferring your church membership?

I am going to be moving soon and will need to transfer my church membership.

The church can request the transfer for you if they are within the same denomination. Otherwise you can write them a letter identifying yourself and how long you have been a member and then explain you are now in a new church and wish to transfer your membership.

Just tell them why you are leaving the church, you enjoyed being a part of their parish, but you are moving and will be joining a new church.
