Believe it or not, you should check out Amazon's Mechanical Turk. They frequently have a variety of options for writing or re-writing articles. Payouts vary, but longer and more in-depth articles pay more. You can also do series of short articles that pay well and don't take a lot of your time.

If you are just starting out in the writing business, you should look into sites that pay for ghostwriting such as Textbroker or that pay based on traffic, such as Associated Content. Constant Content is another website where you can market articles and tends to pay more per article. It also provides the option to retain full rights.

In addition to creating your own blog with paid ads on them there are some other ways to get paid for writing. One of the websites I have recently encountered is www. ehow. com. I decided not to use this site for one reason though. It wants your social security or employee ID number and I am unwilling to give it.
