A compare/contrast paper would work well. Topics include Islam as practiced in Turkey and Lebanon, Israel and the rest of Southwest Asia, and monarchy in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Southwest Asia is always full of culture and history. Different counties have always been apart of the Spice Trail and have traded with many of our ancestors. India is one of the largest countries in this part of Asia. India has sprouted many traditions including many social standards and classes as apart of the caste system.

The social adaptation of traditionally patriarchal societies in the face of a shortage of women, after 20+ years of killing girls in the womb to avoid the cost of raising girls, is an excellent topic. India, China and Korea are all seeing this problem.
