Can you keep lobsters as pets?

They're dangerous if they grab hold of you, but other wise no.. I imagine if you really wanted to have a lobster for a pet it would be fine. Just be sure to do plenty of research before purchasing one.

You can. They are not dangerous, but you do need the correct type of tank to keep them in. You have to make sure that the water conditions and water flow are correct. There are some very small lobsters that are sold in pet shops. These are similar in size to a shrimp.
