Yes, they are commonly found for sale in pet stores and make great pets. They should be watched around children though.

Green anoles make for great pets and can be found in my American pet stores around the country. If they're in your backyard you're getting a deal.

Yes you can keep them as pets. If you want more then one make sure the are both females. Female and male will make babies and 2 males will fight

Anoles can survive in small quarters. The problem may be getting them to eat. If your pets aren't eating after a few weeks, you should release them again.

Yes you can, but I would suggest only having one, unless you know you have 2 females, 2 males will kill each other. And make sure you know how to care for them.
