Wrought iron is pretty durable so i would say that it should be fine for a while if you keep it outside, but it will not last as long as if you kept it indoors. Over time it will start to rust.
Iron is strong and can withstand the elements, but it also rusts. If you leave it out year round, you'll eventually have to paint it, but it won't wear out.
