Yes, a java fern will grow very well in a ten gallon aquarium. Java fern is one of the most hardy aquatic plants, so it will be able to survive in water with a wide range of temperature, pH and hardness. It will thrive in a tank with fish that can provide nutrients from their waste products.

You can keep java fern in a ten gallon tank. You can put it in a fishbowl and it thrives. Most fish do not like its taste.

The java fern grows very slowly and rarely over a foot wide. Assuming you have adequate supplies, a ten gallon tank should be just big enough to grow in.

Yes. Java Fern is easy to grow. It can grow in any size freshwater tank. Sunlight from a sunny South facing window is enough light to grow a healthy tank full of Java ferns.
