You can find the lyrics to most songs from sites which have full lyrics of songs. Usually you need a song title and the band or performer. Where as you haven't provided much to go on it does sound like you are talking about the song, "Please Don't Go" by Boyz to Men.

The song is "No" and it's by the Amuzement Park Band, which was indeed a "one-hit wonder." You can find the lyrics and video on youtube. Rico McFarland was one of the band members. He has a page on MySpace if you want to communicate with him. You can also find the lyrics on a number of sites.
