I am worried that my wishes will not be met with just one executor of my estate and was considering getting two.

Having two executor's of an estate is asking for trouble. Hire a lawyer to do it for you, he or she will be bound by law to follow your instructions.

It is best to appoint an executor in whom you have confidence, thus alleviating worry about his or her performance. Discuss this with you attorney.
