If a baby dies at 7 months (in the third trimester), it is called a stillbirth. Fetal death is still possible, but very rare, after the first trimester.

You can have an unsuccessful pregnancy at 7 months, but it is generally not called a miscarriage at that point. Usually that far along it would be labeled as a stillborn.

You can miscarry at any point during pregnancy, though it is most common in the first three months. At 7 months they may may call it a still-born, but it is essentially the same thing. If you are experiencing symptoms such as bleeding or labor pains at 7 months you should call your doctor as soon as possible.

no. when you give birth at or later than your 7th month of pregnancy, it is not longer called a miscarriage, but is rather called pre-term birth. at around this time, with enough life support, your child is very well capable of living outside your uterus. if a child if born dead at around this time, it's called still birth.

Yes, it is possible to have a miscarriage this far along in your pregnancy. You should see your care provider for more information.
