The best tip is to prepare with practice tests (most AP courses have their own books you can get at the bookstore). Another big key is to understand how to best take the test (how to budget time, understand if guessing is penalized or not, etc.).

If your school/teacher offers study sessions, GO TO THEM! The thing that will really help you on these AP tests are knowing the material backwards and forwards. Take a look at old AP tests and take note of what they testers look for in answers.

If you're not already in the classes, take college courses through your HS instead: it's easier to pass and get credit. But study and pace yourself while thinking everything through!
