I would say have a college/frat themed party or if that is too daring, then a Hawaiian themed luau could be fun!

have a carnival. Pretend like you are kids again and have cotton candy, popcorn and stuff like that. have games and a big jumpy thing. It will make it more fun and less formal. It's about celebrating your success and having fun and not about having to kiss butt to all of your parents friends
