The simplest way is to take a carton of milk and cut a square out of one side. Punch a hole just below the square and secure a small branch in the hole as a perch. Punch another hole in the top to hang it from.

First you need a milk carton. Cut a silver dollar circle out (how big depends on the species you want) on one of the sides. Stick a chopstick through beneath the circle. Continue to push it through to the other side leave some of the stick poking out. Hang.

Stop at your local Toys R Us or Hobby lobby and get a kit. If you don't have a hammer and saw and whatnot a kit will be simple.
