Patrick Star is the starfish guy you are talking about. Some more characters are Mr. Krabs, owner of the Krusty Krab. Squidward Tentacles, Spongebob's neighbor. Sandy Cheeks, one of Spongebob's best friends. She is from the state of Texas. Also, Plankton who is the owner of Chum Bucket.
