Yes, it is possible, but there is a very limited amount of space to work with. If you wanted, for instance, a tattoo in the ear canal, it can be done. The outer lobe and helix areas can be and are tattooed. It's a difficult area to tattoo, which is why you may not have seen it before.

Yes you can have a tattoo in the ear, I have a musical note inside my left ear right at the top. An alternative to having one inside your ear would be having one behind the ear, coz there is more space. Think about it carefully!

Yes you can have a tattoo inside the ear. Not many people have them because it's really painful for you and hard to do for the artist.

Nothing stops you from having one. It's a bit painfull, but completely possible. I've never seen it by myself, but there are lot of photos in internet. You may google "tatto in the ear foto" to see examples. Good luck.
