It depends on where you live. In your state, did you pay a deposit on the bottle when you bought your soda? If so, then yes, when you recycle the bottle, this small fee (five or ten cents, usually), will be refunded to you. Look on the bottle or the label for more info on the redemption value.

Yes, glass soda bottles should be treated just like any other type of item you can return at the super market for money back. Just because it is glass does not mean it is not capable of being returned. just as long as you bring it back to the store where you bough the soda, it is returnable.
