Can you do a free electoral roll search?

It is not possible to do a search of the 2010 electoral roll for free. This is the list of registered UK voters. Because companies pay for data the cost has to be passed on to the consumer. The price is about 5 pounds.

I have always to pay! It's not fair, I think. I have to pay, from my pocket, give money to do a electoral roll search! But it's OK for me, I will not do nothing about that, just maybe stopping doing electoral roll search. So, in conclusion, I have always to pay!
