Can you close pierced ears?

If your ears were pierced recently, just stop wearing earrings and they will heal. If your ears have been pierced for a long time you will need plastic surgery. (My ears were pierced when I was a child and I can go years without wearing earrings, with no change. )

You can close them cosmetically with a right combination of foundation and some creams - but this is only temporary. Closing them permanently involves a minor surgical procedure where the edges of the hole are cut (freshened) so that the ear lobe heals and in the process gets the hole closed off.

If you stop wearing earrings, the piercings will usually close on their own over time. Sometimes it takes a few weeks and sometimes several months or more.

You could close pierced ears by putting a stitch in each of the ears, but why bother for over a period of time the hole in the ear will eventually grow back together if you do not put any thing through the hole in the ear. Which ever works best for you.

If you take your earrings out and do not wear any more usually the holes in your ears from the piercings will close up on their own. I do not know of any other way of going about closing your pierced ears except to let it close on its own naturally.

Yes. Just don't wear any earrings until the holes close up. It may take from a week to possible a month or two until this occurs. Also, scar tissue might form if your ears were pierced with a piercing gun. If this occurs, gently rub or massage a dab of Palmer's Cocoa Butter into your lobes to help.

I got my ears peirced in 06 and its 2011 now and my ears still aint closed!!!!
