You can look for replacement Akai remote controls on eBay or on Amazon. There are also sites that are dedicated to selling electronic accessories, even specifically remote controls. Be sure you have the model number so that you do not accidentally purchase the wrong remote control. You can also call the store where you made the purchase for additional ideas.

If you buy a universal remote control, then you can program your television model and it will work just like Akai. It's best to check which Universal Remote Controls have Akai programming codes, (such as Panasonic or Sony...Panasonic is the best deal since it covers hundreds of brands.)

If you cannot find your Akai remote control you can buy it in every Akai service Center I hope , or in every big markets where are sell Akai TV's
