Yes, marital status has no bearing on eligibility to buy a home. Unmarried couples, siblings, parents and children, and business partners frequentlty buy homes jointly. This is true in every state in the U. S. and normally does not present a conflict for the home seller, although conservative neighborhoods may object in the case of unmarried couples.

Yes. Multiple people can buy property, a house or otherwise, together even if they are not married. Both your names will be on the deed to the house and you will both have financial and legal responsibility for it.
