Teeth whitening strips can not cause any harm to your teeth. The only side effects that I have seen in teeth whitening of any kind are that the gums might get irrated and your teeth might get a little sensitive after whitening.

I don't think they will hurt your teeth but if you have sensitive teeth I would make sure to read the instructions so that they don't irritate you.

Using whitening strips could hurt your teeth if done excessively, say using them three times a day instead of brushing yor teeth.
