Can my laser burn fade away, my doctor said that laser burns never fade and are permanent! Is this true?

I got burned from a laser hair removal on my bikini area and it looks really bad and the scar is black it's been months now it's better than before but still very obvious! It shows if i wear a bikini!

For the most part these burns are permanent. You can treat the area with a scar treatment such as Maderma, to help the area heal. I peronally would suggest finding a waterproof concealer at a specialty beauty shop since most will not fade beyond a light blackish color.

The scar may fade away if it is treated properly. Try rubbing Vitamin E oil on the scar mulitple times a day. Also Mederma may help.

I would think that any tissue that is dark should be able to be bleached out, try using a paste mixture of vinegar and baking soda 2 times a day. You should see some results within a short amount of time. My daughter had an issue under her arms with dark skin and this worked for her. Good Luck.

Usually the scar never goes away. You can put some vitamin E oil on it to help it fade and heal some.
