You are allowed to start the rollover at fifty nine and a half. So it will be in your best interest to wait for the extra six months.

You can roll over a pension at any age. The penalties come in if you cash out the pension or IRA at less than age 59 1/2. In that case, it is taxes plus a 10% penalty.

If you no longer work for the company you can rollover your pension any time you want. If you are still working for the company, than no, you may not.

As far as my knowledge goes, yes you can rollover your pension under the age of 59, because the ultimate aim of pension is to give financial help to a person when he become older that means he cross the age of 55-60. so he or she can rollover his pension.
