The short answer is no. It is not that you are not capable or the part does not exist, its getting your hands on the proper part to perform the replacement. Many carriers have in-store repair for displays which are commonly able to be fixed but they will not give you the part.

Yes you can, but you should look for an original and compatible one, and it might not be that simple.
