Yeas you could hook to boxes to one television. Either in series or with some type of input selector switch.

At a single time, you can only have one cable box hooked up to your television set. This is because receiving cable requires your television to tune to a specific frequency, and if you have two cable boxes hooked up to one television, it will get confused and be unable to pick up the correct frequency.

Yes you can, if you have the right television box and if you have the right cable boxes. First you have to have a TV with two different inputs (most of them have, say HDMI and component). The cable boxes should have the corresponding outputs.

The inputs on the back of the TV allow you to hook up as many devices as there are inputs. Then proceed to the source button on the remote control and go to the device you would like to view.
