Yes, Xp does allow you to use themes as well as change the way the it looks. Like any other version you can change your background but also change the colors of the windows and text. There are also third party programs that can also push customization even further.

Of course! You can download lots of themes, wallpapers, even animated cursor graphics. If you just want to do some simple changes, look in the control panel for appearance settings. There are options for different colors, backgrounds and sceensavers. You can choose a screensaver that displays your own name if you want! Have fun.
